I see that the OP-Z has a clock division per track (so each step could be rather long). And it seems like (from watching videos) when you live record it can record multiple notes in a step without quantizing them to the 16 steps. Is that right? If so, how does one edit the individual notes?

as far as i can tell, u can’t edit the individual notes. u’d have to re-live record it.
i just pattern chain a bunch of 1 bar patterns together and then jam on that.
that way i retain the 16 step per pattern resolution
