Op1 crashing in arpeggio

I recently performed a factory reset on my op1 for the first time ever ( just wanted to start from scratch) now though I’m having the problem that if I use arpeggio mode and hold say 3 or more keys the entire thing shuts down and I cannot turn it back on until I plug it in
Battery level has shown 3 lights upon resetting
Any ideas?

Give this a try. backup anything that is important first.

  1. Boot up to the menu where you update the firmware
  2. format the op-1
  3. load the latest firmware
  4. perform a factory reset

I notice I need to reformat it every few months or at least once a year. My procedure might be overkill, but it has worked to clear every crash/freeze I have run into.
