Internal microphone's input is barely audible. What now?

Hello OP-1 family,

I noticed the internal microphone’s input on my OP-1 is really low. I have to crank everything to max to record anything audible. Which, in many cases, is still not loud enough.
:disappointed:
Any ideas/fixes/thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

Assuming you set the gain via shift + mic button

Check this link. It happens also to me, Mic input decreases if you change from one source to another, but you can recover the original volume changing the radio volume

Yes, I have. +20, still really low. (Radio is set to +0.0)
To get a proper volume I have to set the radio to +33.0 and the mic to +20.0, so everything maxed out. After that it picks up sound at a normal volume but it is super noisy because it’s super amplified.

It seems your problem is software related. I’m afraid mine’s hardware related. :disappointed:
I have sent a message to TE. I wonder if they will ever respond…
