PO for eurorack kit

All you pocket operators / eurorackers may find this interesting:

no actual CV control over anything? what is the point then?

For one of the following reasons I guess:

• hold a Pocket Operator in your Eurorack Case
• supply power to the PO from Euro bus-power
• route the I/O 3.5mm jacks to the front
• divide incoming 16th-note clock to a 8th-note clock used by the PO
• safeguard against higher trigger voltages than the PO accepts
• amplify the output signal times 2

It’s only £35.

Without diving in and reprogramming the flash firmware I don’t think CV control over anything else would happen.

good points. just not sure i’d want to wire my PO up permanently or have to get 2 in order to keep one portable/free.

also not true. u can easily wire each button up to provide gate trigger
as well as CV control over the knobs. no reprogramming the firmware.
its all just voltages anyway

Ah ok, that makes sense. The knobs work with button combinations so I assume you’d have to mash the buttons, which could be pretty cool, especially if you hooked the buttons up to arcade buttons.

well if u hooked up the buttons to gate triggers, u could do all this hands free.

its a lot of work and the solder points are relatively small.
i wouldn’t wanna do this myself, but its definitely possible.
