I’m trying to find some samples/patches that create horn sounds preferably ones that can sustain until I release the keys preferably. I’m new to the OP1 and I know it may be a long shot. But any help would be appreciated.

Ambient kind of cinematic brass is definitely possible. I’ll try to dig out a couple of patches and upload them.
Not sure how close to ‘real’ or 80s synth brass op1 will go though. Maybe someone else has some tips/links?

I use cluster for horns. I use a small number of saws with a small detune. One nice touch is to use the Tremolo LFO to slide the pitch a little bit on the attack. Another key is to use either Nitro or Punch to smooth off the highs, although you can do some of that with the green control in cluster.

So, I’m trying to load this sample in my OP1. But I keep getting a message that says failed to load. Am I missing something here?
I copied it into the synth folder just as I have with past samples.

Sample some Herb Alpert, Ben Webster, Sonny Rollins or Chicago.
