pan in mixer section

Hi,I was playing in a different place from home were I usually play,and I feel like the operator not have so much volume like always and then I notice that when the channel pan was in the middle it was very low but if I move to R or L the sounds became louder.The chain was just op-1 into mixer and the into an active studio monitors(m-audio),using my usually stereo minijack.any suggestions?

95% sure you’re plugging the unbalanced stereo output of the OP-1 into a balanced mono input on the monitors.

The way balanced inputs are wired, the monitors are playing the left minus the right signal. So if you’re center panned, almost nothing.
