i did not find any video on youtube so i wander
Have not tried it but it should work. In a Facebook group one member of „lessix“ confirmed that it is possible to sync two units (he owns two): https://lessix.bandcamp.com
And i just discovered that it is possible to sync the op-1 to an iPad via usb cable and it sends and receives midi Start/stop.

I was a party to that Facebook conversation mate, and he was talking shit.
You can’t sync two OP1s
A few years back when I had 2 Op-1’s I emailed TE and asked if it was possible to Sync 2 Op-1’s with an Oplab.
This was TE’s reply.
“Thank you for your email. Sorry to keep you waiting! Simple answer: Yes.
Press TEMPO and turn GREEN. Three modes are available:
Free
BEAT MATCH (Internal tempo, Master)
SYNC (External tempo, Slave)
Have one OP-1 in BEAT MATCH and the other in SYNC.
Kindly,
TE”

You can’t sync two OP1s
So you have tried to sync two OP-1 with one as a Master and the other as a slave and it did not work? Or how do you know? According to the specs it should work (and if TE confirms this it should even more work).
Finally I have two OP-1 and one OP-Z: the 2 OP-1 can not be synced via USB by itself. Looks like they don’t recognize their midi-clock/startstop.
However; the OP-Z can be synced via USB with an OP-1.
of course u can’t sync two op1s without a usb host device of some kind
OP1 not a host
OPZ is a host
