But isn’t the Switch a good 4cm shorter than the OP-1 even with the controllers attached? What case are you using?
I looked into this and from what I can find the switch is actually slightly wider with joycons attached
Op-1 size
L 282 mm, H 102 mm, D 13.5 mm
Approximately 4 inches high, 9.4 inches long, and 0.55 inches deep (with Joy-Con attached)
*The depth from the tip of the analog sticks to the tip of the ZL/ZR buttons is 1.12 inches
L = 238mm H = 102, D = 28mm
So yes, it should fit
does not fit
my switch fits into the op1 case/

Thank you for clearing this up, saved me a trip to the shops

Perfect! thanks for the pics. I have a decksaver so I think this is the best case optionI'm using exactly that UDG case (U8410BL) as well. Fits the OP-1 + Decksaver with room to spare for cables in the top half. Open the case. Put the OP-1 with Decksaver in the bottom half. Drop your headphone and USB cable in the top half. Now use a piece of foam that has been cut to the right size to fall into the top cover's space. Close case and you are set.https://ibb.co/gTrvJ6https://ibb.co/goiWrR
I actually tried to use my Waterfield Switch case for my OP-1 but it was not big enough - however that inspired me to order this case from them, which fits the OP-1 with a decksaver on as well as various cords, earbuds, etc. in the interior pouches - this has worked great for me so thought I’d give folks the heads up, as I love their stuff.
Thanks to the OP, I now own a useless case for the Nintendo Switch. -.-
Confirmed: Nintendo Switch case is too short for OP-1…
The tittle of this thread is completely misleading!
