Wouldn’t it be awesome for the Op-1 to be usable as a vocoder?
Did anyone try?

This is essentially doing Amplitude Modulation via an envelope follower. It will not sound as clean as a ‘proper’ vocoder, but will have a nice lo-fi AM Radio sound rather than adding overtones to a synthesized carrier.

I completely agree but for now… one thing I did find interesting was when I paired the OP1 with an old BOSS SE-70. That thing enhanced the OP-1 massively, still kept a small footprint, and has a great vocoder!
