Hi guys I’m brand new to using the OP1 and have been reading this forum over the last month learning how to use it. So far I’m liking it a lot and am also sometimes confused with it! I’m having trouble figuring out why the gainstaging is so crazy on it. Some sounds show they are distorting in the mixer but the LED’s on the right might be only have 2 or three green ones lit. Like some synths hit so hard they distort the mixer and I don’t know how to turn them down (or up) before they hit the mixer… maybe mine is broken already. Hey maybe I’m missing something and look like a fool but I would love some help…
Maybe Drive is set too high…
Sometimes you need to turn down the level for the track in the tape. Use the orange knob in the tape view.
