After having heavy GAS for 9 months, last week I could finally afford to buy an OP-1 from www.muziker.de. Today the package arrived and after switching the unit on, it took me some minutes to realize that the display on my unit seems to be broken. Obviously the red color channel does not work, as content which should be red is only very faintly visible and content which should be white appears to be cyan.
Did someone else have this issue? Maybe it’s just the ribbon cable of the display that is not properly seated?
I have already contacted customer support, but the OP-1 seems to be sold out on their website. Hence, they might not be able to provide me with a new unit anytime soon and I would really like to finally use it after craving for such a long time.
