Carrying Pocket Operators

How do you carry your POs on your travels? I just throw them into my bagpack, but they always get turned on, and I just walk with a randomly sounding package :smiley:
I’d consider buying those silicon covers if they helped but I find them unreasonably pricey.

I got one of the Silicon sleeves for my tonic, but I do agree they are way over priced…you could always try to find some sort of portable hard drive case or something of similar size you could throw a couple in? I’m sure you could find something that would work.

I take the batteries out and put the PO in a pocket in my backpack. I had the same problem with the PO turning on while sitting in the backpack.

I was using an airtight plastic container for food with a small piece of bubble foil inside… Totally waterproof, shockproof and cheap solution…

You can also insert a small piece of paper between the batteries and one of the contacts, easier to do than to take them out every time.

I had my friend 3d print one of these for me - if you know someone with a printer it works like a charm!

@cawlin That’s amazing :smiley:

I can’t recommend the Ruggard Portable Hard Drive Cases enough for carrying my Pocket Operators.

Fits a PO, recording device, adapters and earbuds safely in a jeans pocket or backpack. I have 4 of them.

This looks pretty, but the Ruggard looks like a more realistic option.
