PO-16 freezes when i press any button. The the light above step 2 stays on. Please Help!!!

So a week or two after i purchased the Pocket Operator this issue started happening.

After putting fresh (proper) batteries, the unit turns on. I am able to move the two knobs and see visual feedback on the screen,

but as soon as i press any button it freezes, and the #2 step light remains on until i take batteries out.

Pretty frustrating as i bought 2 pocket operators and they both broke within a week from each other. (ill be making a separate post about that one)

This is an indication of codec initialization error. I lost a robot to that.

Wack. Do you know if this is common? already threw away 130$ on these which are practically became pieces of garbage after 1 week of use. Dont really see why someone would spend a single dollar more on this if my fail rate is 100%

That should be under warranty, ain’t it?

If that is the case you simply speak to the store and they will swap it for a new unit
