op-1 to iphone/ipad

tried using this AmazonBasics Micro USB to Lightning Adapter (Apple Certified) but it didnt work. Can anyone point me to the right adaptor to control the Korg Gadget app? Thanks

Standard micro USB-cable with Apple camera connection kit (CCK).

does this work? https://www.amazon.com/PinPle®-Pin-Card-Reader-Multifunction/dp/B01GZLBJSO/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1479074322&sr=8-5&keywords=micro+USB-cable+Apple+camera+connection+kit

Echoing @Juniorengineer: CCK is the way to go. As an aside, much of what is listed as Apple Certified on Amazon is anything but. I think there was a big article in Wired or some other tech website about this.

so this would be better? https://www.amazon.com/Lightning-to-USB-Camera-Adapter/dp/B014VGHG0U/ref=sxts_k2p_hero1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=2668835622&pd_rd_wg=2rlUo&pf_rd_r=AY065JSDWVEZWR4X3WCF&pf_rd_s=desktop-sx-top-slot&pf_rd_t=301&pd_rd_i=B014VGHG0U&pd_rd_w=KRkF7&pf_rd_i=Apple+Lightning+to+USB+Camera+Adapter&pd_rd_r=EQ67J7KM0BBXE072NH01&ie=UTF8&qid=1479075067&sr=1

That’s the one.

Korg Gadget, BTW. Wow. I’m going to buy the nanokey studio to control gadget. Korg is geniuos. With the app, the in app purchable synths, the integration of the Module, eh, “modules”, and now the automapped Bluetooth nanokey… The total price of this thing is now extremely close to a decent hardware synth!

Still worth it though…:stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks @Skotchi!

@Juniorengineer I dont know if your being sarcastic but Korg Gadget and Polyplayground were both “introductory” synth apps that got me to invest into the op-1 but since both can seriously be “standalone” into one’s arsenal I will continue to use them. Ill check that bluetooth nanokey tho lol

No sarcasm…:stuck_out_tongue: I love gadget.

No sarcasm...:p I love gadget.

I love it, too!

Created some really deep tracks in live sessions.

Yes. And the easy integration of really impressive piano gadget and such makes it an allrounder suitable for anyone. Automation of effects and other settings by dragging the finger across the screen gives me a R-rated pleasure, and I can hear my MacBook sulking in despair over at the desk, while I lay on the sofa sampling and chopping the loops I make in gadget on the OP-1.

Hi,
Does the official Lightning-usb3 adaptor works in order to connect the OP-1 to an iPad Air2?
I know it’s a reoccuring question but I’m not sure about it.
Thanks

If you’re talking about the Apple CCK cable (lightning to USB), then yes, simply plugging the OP-1 USB cable into that works just fine.

Yeah,
I think this is the new one with the possibility of chargin’ the iPad at the same time.
Anyone tried it?

using the usb3 adapter, connecting the op1 and then routing the audio from the ipad to the op1 gives audio issues (cpu noise bursts, electric noise dirt) - sadly. would be great if this could be without the bad hiss problems…

But can I use it for sequence OP-1 from ipad or viceversa?

sure, will be easy. its just the audio.

Uhm…
What do I need to eliminate the audio issue?
