Viewing parameters of existing step for the PO-20?

Hi Again,

Welp ya’ll should have known better than to so thoroughly and helpfully answer my last question, because I’m back with another one ;P. Pretty sure the answer to this one is “you can’t”, but we’ll see.

Once you’ve programmed in a step sequence, is it possible to view the A/B parameters of that particular step? In particular I’d like to know the note parameters of an existing step. Handy if I’m doubling a sequence to another instruments.

Right now I am just figuring it out by ear, my pitch is not so great, but I can usually get it but leaving write mode and trying to re-create the melody my ear while live playing.

But it’s just a little slow cumbersome.

Anyway I don’t think it’s possible to view existing step parameters, but just in case thought I’d ask!

Thanks

Hey there.

As far as i know, there is no way to do it other than what you’re already doing instead.

Keep at it though, as you’ll improve your “musical ear”.

Slow it down and play it to a tuner?

Or record it into Logic Pro X and use flex pitch?

There will be many other similar ways, but perhaps not close enough to what you’re looking for.

Okay, thanks folks!
