Record PO on PC?

Hi All,
I got a PO-20 arcade the other day, had lots of fun playing with it so far.

I made some little tunes and now I’d like to record them with a bit of a better quality than just recording the speaker.

How can I properly record the output with my computer? My audio setup is basically non-existent and I am a complete beginner. I had a look online and apparently I should connect the PO’s output to an audio interface. Is that it?

What’s the most basic setup to get this done?

Thanks!

Double check if your PC has a line in. If not, get yourself a cheap audio interface - the Behringer UC202 can be got for £20 or so and is perfectly adequate for what you need. Software-wise, check out Audacity which is free and perfectly capable.

Thanks! I guess I need a 3.5mm jack to 2xRCA cable to connect the PO to the UC202 as well?

You do, yes, sorry I should have mentioned this.

A microphone port will also work.
